Dr. Lowenstein grew up in Israel and the Five Towns. She graduated from Queens College and received her medical degree in 1995 from New York University, where she also earned her Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology, studying Growth Factor Receptor Signal Transduction. She trained in Dermatology at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Eve has been with South Nassau Dermatology PC since 1999. She also serves as Clinical Professor of Dermatology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and Director of Medical Dermatology at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn. Eve is involved in resident education and researches/teaches in areas of interest including History of Medicine, Dermatologic Forensics, Iatrogenic injury and Diagnostic error.
