Actinic Keratosis

An actinic keratosis is a precancerous lesion that can lead to squamous cell carcinoma if left untreated. They occur as a result of cumulative sun exposure and are most common on the face, scalp, ears, chest, and backs of hands. We offer different options for treating them, including cryosurgery (liquid nitrogen spray), topical immunotherapy and photodynamic therapy.
